Okay, so this isn’t a specific event but it is an important ministry of our church. Hunger is a very real problem in our world and there are students within our local community whose only meal may be the lunch and occasional breakfast they receive at school. As a result, weekends can be a real challenge and these students are left in need. Well, we take Matthew 25:40 extremely seriously and are working to do something so that students will have food for the weekends. The Snack Pack Ministry is a program designed to collect food and have it distributed at the High School in a way that students are not made to feel uncomfortable about accepting the food. We need two things to make the Snack Pack ministry a success: 1) We need prayer; prayer is a powerful tool and we ask that you pray for this ministry and that the students who receive these packs would be blessed and experience God’s love. 2) We need donations (either monetary or easily prepared food items).
