Partners in Mission

Posted on Tue, Nov 13, 2007

The next few pages our letters from our Partners in Mission that our church supports each month through the WVBC. Let us continue to support them as they continue to spread the gospel throughout the world!

grateful for folks like you who continue to remember us in your prayers as well as your financial support.

Many of you may know that I, Pat, recently had cervical disc surgery. I praise the Lord for the doctors and nurses at Bangkok Nursing Home who have helped to relieve my pain through this surgery. Even though it was only a little over 2 weeks ago I feel myself getting stronger every day. The problem is that as I get older I don’t heal as quickly, my mind thinks I should be doing more but my body is telling me I can’t.

Lamon is finishing up the first term with the Thai B.A. program and is happy to report that all his students passed his courses. The new International M.Div. program is underway and we have some wonderful new students beginning their studies. It is always amazing to hear their stories and to learn of the struggles of Christians in their countries. We have students from Vietnam, Cambodia, Burma, USA and Thailand. It always warms my heart to know that we are having an impact on the church in these countries through helping these young men and women to develop into future leaders of the Church.

As I am writing this I know that giving to The World Mission Offering is in full swing. I trust that each of you will continue to support us in your offerings but especially in your prayers.

Peace in Him, Lamon & Pat Brown
