On Sunday, February 22, William Richard (Rick) Dodd was ordained deacon of First Baptist Church where he will serve on the Board of Deacons for a three-year term.  He was a member of this church from age 4 until he left to attend Marshall University.  He lived in Texas and Louisiana for many years before returning to West Virginia.  Rick is the son of William Dodd of Bridgeport and the late Mae Dodd who passed away when he was a junior at Lewis county High School.  Both of his parents were long-time members of this church.  Rick is employed in Guest Services at Stonewall Resort.
