Several members of FBC participated in a project to raise money to support this event. The opportunity was made available to work the ticket booths at the Stonewall Jackson Jubilee over the Labor Day weekend. Broad Street United Methodist Church took responsibility for Friday, FBC for Saturday, and Real Life Church for Sunday. Appreciation is extended to the 31 people who braved the ninety degree heat to fulfill these duties. A job well done!!!

The location for all activities will be at the TALA. A drama, Judgment House, will be performed on two consecutive weekends in October – 21st through 23rd and 28th through 30th.
Judgment House is a drama about four people who have 59 minutes to live and the decisions they make. It is recommended for teenagers and adults. It is a powerful and personal presentation of the Gospel and brings people to the point of making a decision regarding Christ. This event has some scenes that are dramatically graphic; therefore, it is not recommend for younger children.
On Sunday from 3 pm to 6 pm, will be family time with an event called Light Night Festival. It is similar to a block party with food, games, and prizes. There will be activities for all age groups. “Life on the Farm” is the theme and participants are encouraged to dress in farm-related costumes.
