Crop Walk for Hunger
Sunday October 4, 2009

What does CROP mean?
Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty.

Neighbors from different faiths, cultures, and ages, walking together to take a stand against hunger in our world. Together we raise awareness and funds for international relief and development, as well as local hunger-fighting agencies. Some 2000 communities across the country take part each year.

Please contact Connie Gainer, Gene or Kathy Shackleford to join FBC team to participate in the walk or to give a donation. Those attending are asked to bring a can or two of food to be given to OUR NEIGHBOR to distribute to those in need. Also, 25% of the donations will stay in Lewis County.

So even if we can’t walk, we can give a donation to one of the team members either monetary or cans of food.

2:00 pm Registration
3:00 pm Walk begins
4:00 pm Pizza Distribution for returning walkers
5:00 pm Preaching, Praise, Worship
