October is Pastor Appreciation Month
“And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you
in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake.
Be at peace among yourselves.” I Thessalonians 5:12-13
There is no calling of greater importance today than the calling to serve Christ’s church, as pastor.
As we observe Pastor Appreciation Month, we can honor our Pastor by the following actions.
*Pray for him (Galatians 6:1-2)
*Work for unity in the church (Ephesians 4:2-3)
*Honor and respect him (Phil 2:25, 29: I Timothy 5:17)
We honor God when we: *Respect those who minister to us on behalf of Christ.
