LEAVE YOUR SINS WITH GOD

LEAVE YOUR SINS WITH GOD

Autumn is here and it is my favorite season. It reminds me of pumpkin pie, apple cider, football and beautiful fall foliage.

However, there is a downside to this season and that is . . . the raking of leaves. Now I could just wait until all of them have fallen and then try to deal with them. But the truth is, it would be a better idea to rake a little each day. The reason being is because if I don't watch out, the leaves will accumulate to such an amount the job of raking them will overwhelm me!

The same could be said about how we deal with everyday sins. If we don't do something about them, they will overwhelm us. So, what can we do? As Christians it is important to confess our sins each and every day. This procedure will allow us to be free of obstacles, guilt, and feelings of despair. The Bible says in 1 John 1: 9 "If we confess our sins, He who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness". So why not start today? Tell the Lord what you have done wrong. Give him as J. Vernon McGee used to say "the whole laundry list". If you do, you will lessen your load and be free to walk in His righteousness and do His will. Have a great autumn, and leave your sins with God. In His service, Ken
