On Wednesday Evening June 2 at 7:00 p.m. we are planning on starting the study of the book by Rick Warren, “The Purpose Driven Life”. We will meet each Wednesday Evening and work on this assignment for as long as it takes. We will also meet during Bible School on Sunday the Thirteenth and Wednesday the sixteenth for this discussion and study.
Much has been said about the contents of this book and how it has changed the lives of many people. I hope you will make every effort to attend all these sessions. If you cannot make it to all the sessions I hope you will come when you can. From what I have read about this book I fell sure we will all be the winners by attending and participating in the study. If you want the Book or the workbook (please contact the church office) but they are not a requirement for you attending.
Summer is now upon us and I want to ask you to be very faithful in your attendance to all our services. Our Pulpit Search Committee is working on the task we have given them and we want to lift them up in prayer daily. We may be going on vacation during the summer but remember that our expenses will continue.
Its time for us to send our children and youth to the W.Va. Baptist Camp at Cowen. I have been over there several times this spring and things are getting ready for the camping season. We want to be a part of the camping experience this year.
And always remember you are always welcome at any of our church services, becuase with you ,we make our church a better place!
