I.The Sweetheart Dinner held February 13th, 5:30 p.m. had 92 in attendance! We appreciate Cynde Parker and Cathy Fisher for cooking the delicious lasagna and the youth for serving it. The entertaining games were led by Sonya Turner. Famous Couples game winner was Betty McCoy. Door prize winner was Jessica Hayhurst.. Participants in the Newlywed Game were: Rev. Ken & Allison Miller, Don & Brenda Stout; Clayton & Glo Woofter, and Ray & Maryanne Postlethwait. Congratulations to Ray and Maryanne Postlethwait for winning the game and receiving flowers donated by Jackson’s Mill Florist. and a dinner certificate to Henry Flesher’s Restaruant. All the couples received dinner certificates to Giovanni’s, Old Mill Diner, and KFC. Guess Your Mate’s Feet game winners were Jason Bennett and Anna Posey who won a Walmart gift card. Other couples participating and recieved candy were Gene & Melanie Reed, Robert & Nancy Hayhurst, Cindy Davis & Bill Rowan. Sonya closed the evening by presenting Rev. Ken & Allison Miller with a bouquet of flowers donated by O’Suzanna’s Florist on behalf of our church.
