A Note from Rev. Kenneth Miller

Posted on Sat, Oct 16, 2004

Dear First Baptist Weston,

I am looking forward to being your pastor starting November 7th.  How exciting it will be to work with you as we seek to do the Lord's will.  I must tell you that Allison, Mallory, Nolan and I have certainly experienced your love and hospitality.  What a delicious meal you provided for us on September 18th, and the reception following the morning worship service was exceptional.  But even better than that were the kind words of love and appreciation you expressed to us.  In addition, we have felt your prayers as well.  What a loving church family you are.

Please continue to pray for us in the coming weeks.  We still have much ministering to do here in Ravenswood.  We also have to say goodbye to good friends.  We will be making plans to find a new house in Weston.  Remember to pray for Mallory and Nolan as we seek to help them make a smooth transition in school.  We are confident all of this will work out.  The Holy Scripture tells us that  "All things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)

God bless you in the days ahead.  We look forward to the time when we will be together.

In His Service,

Ken
