Missionary Circles

Our church has two active missionary circles who are affiliated with American Baptist Women (ABW) of the WV Baptist Convention.  They support international missions as well as local mission projects.  They extend an invitation to all the ladies who would like to join them in this worthwhile endeavor. 

Circle 3 holds evening meetings, the Lisa Simmons Circle meets during the day.   Meetings are always noted in the bulletin and on the calendar included in the newsletter.

Lisa Simmons Circle has been supporting  the Rosenbaum Family House at WV University Hospital by collecting various household necessities such as paper products, laundry supplies, soap, shampoo, etc.  They recently delivered a load and have started collecting a new supply.

 Circle 3 has opened a Country Pantry in our church to be used locally for families who face unexpected hardships.  They also collect school supplies for Weirton Christian Center.

Both circles aid international missionaries by furnishing various items throughout the year as well as  monetary  collections.  They participate in various other mission projects throughout the year, both locally and internationally.  Monthly meetings are usually held at the church and are open to all ladies who would enjoy assisting with these mission projects.
