Romans 12:18, “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” (NIV)

David L. Carrico, Executive Minister of The West Virginia Baptist Convention encourages you to attend the Annual Meeting of the West Virginia Baptist Convention on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 16th and 17th, in Parkersburg. The business sessions of the Convention will be held at the South Parkersburg Baptist Church on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

Our WVBC constitution provides for each church to be represented in the following manner:

“The voting membership shall consist of the Convention Officers and the pastor and two delegates from each cooperating member church, and one additional delegate for each one hundred members or major fraction thereof above the first one hundred members from each such church, provided that no member church shall be entitled to more than ten delegates plus the pastor in this class. Members must be present to vote; proxy and absentee voting shall not be permitted.”

For highlights of the Pre-Convention and Convention Activities such as Delegate Information, Business Session, Worship Leaders, Fellowship Opportunities, Blessing Blitz, Accommodations, and Directions, please check the bulletin board. To represent our church and be a voting delegate, please contact the church office or Pastor Miller to pre-register by Tuesday, October 2nd.
