FBC TOURS FESTIVAL of LIGHTS

An adult trip to Cabela's and Oglebbay Resort took place on November 10th. A total of 12 people left the church at 8:30am and returned back around 10:00pm that night. We first drove to Cabela's where we stopped and had lunch and toured the many wildlife exhibits. At 2:00pm, we left to go over to Oglebay Park. We spent the rest of the beautiful afternoon touring the Mansion, Glass museum, Greenhouse, Planetarium, and Zoo. Some of the more adventurous ones hiked around the ponds. After that, we drove over to Wilson Lodge where we enjoyed an evening meal before taking the driving tour of the Festival of Lights.

The Christmas decorations were beautiful throughout the Park and everyone had a wonderful time. A special thanks to Steven Gower for going with us and taking pictures. - Debbie Snyder
